nail polish / shellac reviews

I've been doing some fun things with my nails recently so I thought I'd do a little post to share :) I've gotten really into the shellac manicure recently... and by "really into" I mean completely addicted. I just don't like regular nail polish on my fingers anymore!
This the white that is normally used for the tips in a french, with some glitter on top- it made me look super tan!
This is a custom color I had blended, its white with the color "tropix" which is an orange-y color. This is my favorite color that I've had (and the one I have on currently). It looks pink or peachy in different light which I like.
I had this color on a long time ago- its regular polish, Katy Perry for OPI in the color Teenage Dream. It's a really prinecss pink sparkly color but a royal pain to take off!
I had this on even longer ago and probably won't ever wear it again. It's the Shatter polish by OPI... which is cool for one time- but then I just got bored w/ it. Call me crazy.
Anyone else have any fun colors recently?

some faves

I've been suffering from a lack of inspiration for my blog recently so I thought I'd share some products I've been loving recently.
In addition to my Clarisonic, I have been LOVING this cleanser from Bliss. It's the Clog Dissolving milk with fruit enzymes so it is exfoliating, smells soooo amazing, and makes me skin so soft :) You can also use it as a mask if you leave it on longer. I put mine on dry skin, leave it for a few minutes, and then Clarisonic that baby off ;) I alternate between that and my MD Forte III cleanser.
Next is the whole Blood Orange + White Pepper line from Bliss. OMG this stuff smells soooooooooooo amazing and I can't say enough great things about the scrub. Yum Yum Yum. Everyone likes the Lemon + Sage scent from Bliss but I think the Blood Orange is way better, and although it sounds weird with the white pepper, I've never met anyone that doesn't love it.
Time for a dirty little confession, I barely wash my hair anymore because of the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo. After 2 days I just sprinkle this into my hair and it stays good for another3 days 2 days until I wash it again.
I recently discovered this moisturizer which is great for day and night. Everyone else really likes the smell but it took me a while to warm up to it but now I love it. It makes my skin feel super healthy and nourished ;)
Okay, that's all I'll bore you with for now! Any new faves you've discovered recently?

just trying out the glamglow mask for the first time! i picked up a sample at bliss so i could try it before buying because it is somewhat pricey. here's how cute i look with it on (not):
It's made with volcanic pumice rock, kaolin sea clay, and green tea. I just washed it off and I must say, it's pretty amazing. My skin looks and feels so much better. It's super tingly when you first put it on, and then it turns to that lighter color when it's time to take it off. I used some of my peeling groovy serum after and then my vivite glycolic moisturizer and it seems like they're both absorobing better because of the mask. Guess this means I'll be buying the full size now!

Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

So I finally got my hands on the Boscia Luminizing Black mask this weekend! According to Sephora, it's "a groundbreaking, mineral-rich mask that peels off to deliver powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening effects." As soon as I got home I had to try this bad boy out.
I applied a pretty thick layer all over my face because I wanted to be sure I was getting the maximum effects my first time. It feels very cool and tingly on the face when you first put it on and then it tightens up, hardens and then it is time to peel it off. Owww, does it hurt when you peel it off!! This is one serious mask (it was def more painful where the mask was thickest- next time I'll do a thinner layer). I think it even ripped out some of my fine facial hairs because my skin looked like it had been waxed in some areas and it was pretty red. HOWEVER, my skin was super smooth after and you could see all the impurites on the mask so it was well worth it!
Next I want to try the GlamGlow mask that Blue Eyed Girl recently raved about... anyone else have any masks they love?
XOXO,

brazilian blowout

Edit Post

So yesterday I finally did the brazilian blowout and it is AMAZING. My hair was so soft when I left and so much easier to comb out after being washed, it is incredible. I wish I had a good before and after picture but unfortunately, I just took an after. I ever wear my hair in its natural state and therefore have no pictures of it and I really didn't feel like showering the night before just so I'd have the before pic. Sorry! It's kinda like this persons though:
And now my hair is like this:
I haven't washed it myself yet, so that will be the true test, but I really love it thus far.

Last week I got a fabulous facial from Bliss spa + microdermabrasion and it was AMAZING. My friend Sarah that I work with looked so fresh one day and I commented on it and she said she had just gone for the facial/micro and I booked mine the very same day! It feels amazing and facials at Bliss are such a treat because not only do they do the facial, but they also massage you too. My skin didn't peel for a while, but now its beginning to so I'm just moisturizing a little more but I am so happy with the results and may make this a monthly treat to myself.
And tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut and I'm doing the Brazilian blowout. I am SO excited for this!! My hair straightens fairly easily, it takes me about 10 minutes to blow dry it, but it has quite a bit of wave/curl (the ugly kind) in it so if I can skip this process all together I will be one happy girl! If anyone needs a hair girl in AZ I have the most amazing person ever so let me know :)
I'll be sure to take pictures tomorrow...
