New Years Traditions

Do you have any new years traditions? Every year we have pork and sauerkraut for our New Years meal. It's a German tradition that my moms family has been doing forever. I used to HATE the sauerkraut but now I can't get enough of it. It's funny how some things change like that.

we eat coleslaw at midnight...supposedly it makes you more prosperous the upcoming year-according to my dad-but I have to say that each year I've done it and I have definitely been more prosperous than the year prior ;)
PS I love sauerkraut too!!
Hmmm... well they're both cabbage so it's kind of similar! One year we were out of town and didn't have our sauerkraut and so many bad things happened that year so I believe it!
